On Arrival at the Bus Stop in Shimla, you will be met by our Representative.  we buckle up for a picture‑perfect drive of about 7–8 hours covering 235 km. Apple orchards line the road until the mighty Sutlej River takes over as our companion. By early evening we roll into the quiet village of Rakcham in Sangla Valley, ringed by cedar forests and snow‑capped peaks. Stretch your legs by the river, tuck into a hearty dinner and have a good sleep under a sky full of stars.

Wake to birdsong and mountain light. After breakfast we take a short drive to postcard‑pretty Chitkul, the last Indian village before Tibet. Feel the crisp air, click photos with wooden homes and endless meadows. By afternoon we climb gentle bends to Kalpa, a calm village facing the jagged Kinner Kailash peaks. Enjoy sunset colours on the snow tops, savour local dinner and drift to sleep with the sound of temple bells.

Enjoy your morning breakfast and wave goodbye to the green Satluj Valley. We zig‑zag up to the high‑desert of Spiti where the earth turns lunar‑grey and the sky feels closer. Stop at mirror‑like Nako Lake for tea and later at Giu to meet the famous self‑mummified monk—Spiti’s own time‑traveller. By dusk we reach ancient Tabo village. Settle into a cosy guesthouse, dine on simple mountain food and rest easy.

Good morning from Tabo! After breakfast we walk the murals and mud halls of its 1,000‑year‑old monastery, often called the ‘Ajanta of the Himalayas’. A short drive leads to cliff‑hugging Dhankhar where you can hike to a hidden turquoise lake if you wish. By afternoon we roll into the green womb of Pin Valley National Park. Tonight’s homestay is peaceful—perfect for learning about stargazing before you have a good sleep.

After a lazy breakfast we visit Kungri Monastery, alive with young monks’ laughter and fluttering prayer flags. Then we climb to Demul, one of Spiti’s most eco‑friendly villages perched at 4,300 m. Try a yak‑ride, help your host cook momos or simply sip hot arak while folk songs fill the air. Nights here are crystal clear—perfect for another round of stargazing.

Rise early to a gold‑tinted horizon. After breakfast we cruise from one record‑breaker to another: Komic, the world’s highest village with a motor road; Hikkim, where you can drop a card at the world’s highest post office; and Langza, watched over by a gentle giant Buddha. Try spinning the potter’s wheel or ride a mountain bike downhill. We end the day in Kaza, Spiti’s tiny capital, where cafés serve steaming thukpa and apple pie. Have a good sleep—tomorrow is lake day!

Good morning! An early start takes us to Ki Monastery, a fairy‑tale stack of white boxes on a cone‑shaped hill. Next come Kibber village and Chicham Bridge—the highest in Asia. After crossing the Kunzum Pass we descend to Chandratal, the shimmering ‘Lake of the Moon’. Spend your afternoon walking its shoreline and, after dinner at the campsite, lie back for a mind‑blowing stargazing session.
